Arrived in Malaysia
Okay, so it's Monday morning here, had 4 hours of sleep, shower and coffee. Trying to move to local time - it's fifteen hours later than Oregon. The flight was long - 10 hours from Seattle to Tokyo, about 13 minutes on the ground, and then 7 hours from Tokyo to Singapore. . . nice not to be on an airplane. It was about 25 hours door to door - flying is really just the most expedient way to get places, but not the most pleasant. David picked us up at the terminal about 1:30 am and drove us back to the Pulai Springs Resort - their home while in Malaysia and our home base for the trip. We walked around the resort and saw the grounds - very nice pavilion with tall roof with ornament and fancy wooden screens and carving, very nice swimming pool with dark blue tile. I think we're going to go see monkeys somewhere this afternoon.

Bagus! You made it. I took that very flight back in '85. I was 35 and my body could take it easier. Just have a couple Tiger beers!
